HEAD INJURY
Minor injuries involving no brain damage up to £7,000.
Minor brain damage where a good recovery has been made but symptoms such as poor concentration and memory problems continue,up to £23,500.
Moderate brain damage £23,500 to £120,000.
Moderately severe brain injury £120,000 to £155,000.
Very severe brain damage £155,000 to £220,000. Psychiatric damage affecting the ability to cope with life and/or work oraffecting relationships with family and friends - £1,000 to £60,000.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder,where full recovery is gained within 3 years £2,000 to £4,000. Where largely recovered but with some continuing minor symptoms £4,000 to £10,000. Moderately severe where prognosis is that some recovery may be achieved with professional help but effects will continue to cause significant disability for the foreseeable future £14,500 to £27,000. Severe symptoms requiring professional help where effects will be permanent and are likely to prevent the claimant from working in the future £28,500 to £45,000 compensation.

WRIST INJURY
Minor injury such as an uncomplicated fracture with full recovery £1,000 to £3,500.
Injuries resulting in significant or permanent disability £12,000 to £19,500.Less severe disability or pain and stiffness from £6,000 - £12,500. Where recovery is complete up to £5,000.
Injuries resulting in complete loss of function in the wrist, for example when an arthrodesis has been performed - £26,250 to 33,000.

ELBOW INJURY
Moderate or minor injury such as simple fractures or tennis elbow where there is no permanent damage or impairment of function of the joint - up to £6,000.
Injuries leading to impairment of function but not involving major surgery or significant disability £7,500 to £15,000.
Severely disabling injury of the elbow £18,350 to £25,000.

Fracture of one finger with complete recovery within a few weeks from£1,000 to £1,750.
Severe dislocation of thumb, £2,000 to £3,000.
Loss of terminal phalanx of ring or middle fingers from £2000to £3500. Amputation of little finger from £4000 to £5850. Loss of part of little finger where tip is sensitive from £2000 to £2750.
Fractures with impairment of grip from £4,250 to £5,850.
Serious injury to ring or middle fingers £7,000 to £7,750.
Loss of middle finger £7,500.
Loss of index finger £9,000.Severe fracture to fingers with partial amputations resulting in deformity, impairment of grip, reduced function up to £18,500.

Effective loss of both hands: £75,000 to £110,000.

Minor injuries including fractures which resukt in no permanenet disablement up to £6750.
Severe injuries needing/had hip replacements up to £13,000.

KNEE INJURY
Lacerations, twisting or bruising injury with complete recovery, up to £3,250.
Ongoing symptoms such as aching/discomfort/occasional pain, up to £6,500.
Torn cartilage or meniscus, dislocation, ligamentous damage; injuries resulting in minor instability or weakness from £7,000 to £13,000.
Severe injuries £13,000 to £52,500.

For fractures and ligamentous tears resulting in moderate disability such as difficulty walking on uneven ground or on stairs £6,500 to £13,500.
Severe injury involving long period of treatment, long period in plaster and some permanent disability (limited walking ability etc) from £15,000 to £25,000.
